For starters, the brochure reveals that the will be available with a choice of seven colours including a sporty red shade, the traditional metallic brown and two new shades of metallic gray and silver. Customers will also be able to opt for an exterior styling kit that includes a rear spoiler, a rear windshield mounted spoiler and skirting all around to make the car look sporty. Multiple alloy designs will also be on offer.
Other accessories that will be offered on the 2018 Ciaz include a touchscreen multimedia system, a rear entertainment kit with DVD compatibility, lit-up door sill guards and rear sunshades among others. For the audiophile, Maruti will offer a 5-channel amplifier, a subwoofer and 2-way coaxial 260W speakers to be added on to the audio setup of the Ciaz. Other accessories include an air purifier, a digital tyre inflator and Ecstar premium care care kit.
The Ciaz facelift will be launched today with a new 1.5-litre petrol engine that makes 105PS of max power. The engine will be mated to Maruti's SHVS mild-hybrid system and is claimed to return a fuel economy of 21.56kmpl according to ARAI test cycle. This would make the Ciaz the most efficient petrol sedan in its segment and a benchmark for its rivals like the. The Ciaz will also come with a 4-speed automatic. The diesel variant will continue to employ the 1.3-litre DDiS diesel which also powers the current model. The diesel will be available with a manual gearbox only.
