  • Expect performance to be on par with a petrol-powered 250cc motorcycle.
  • Teaser silhouette reveals sharp cuts and aggressive styling.
  • Could be priced at Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom).

After sending us a tasty teaser of its upcoming motorcycle, the F77 a month ago, Ultraviolette is ready to launch the performance electric motorcycle tomorrow. The F77 boasts of some incredible performance stats which are a cut above the only other electric motorcycles currently available in India — the Revolt RV400 and RV300. Logically, the pricing would also be on the steeper side when compared to the Revolt motorcycles as it could retail for Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom).

The F77 has a large 25kW motor which helps it accelerate from 0-60kmph in 3 seconds. This claimed figure corresponds to the performance we have come to expect from a 250cc motorcycle like the Suzuki Gixxer 250 or the KTM 250 Duke. The motor is housed inside a tubular steel trellis frame with a sharp steering geometry.

Ultraviolette claims its battery-pack has the best-in-class energy-density. While there is no official specs from the company, we expect the range of the motorcycle to be around 150km. Stay tuned for more details on this new electric motorcycle tomorrow.
