Ducati recently showcased the new Scrambler Icon and at the 2018 INTERMOT motorcycle show, it unveiled the 2019 version of the Scrambler Full Throttle, Café Racer and the Desert Sled. All three motorcycles now feature an upgraded headlamp with LED DRLs, self-cancelling LED indicators, more ergonomic switchgear and also the digital console displays fuel gauge and gear position indicator.

The new Scrambler range now gets Ducati Multimedia System that allows Bluetooth connectivity. When paired, the screen will show data like calls, messages and music information. More importantly, the new Scrambler family features cornering ABS and a hydraulic clutch control with adjustable levers.

The 2019 Ducati Scrambler Full Throttle now sports a two-tone black-yellow tank, redesigned tail section and pillion seat. It also gets a low-slung tapered handlebar and the dual-exhaust muffler makes it look distinctive.

The Scrambler Café Racer has always been a gorgeous-looking motorcycle and Ducati designers haven’t fiddled much with the lines of the bike. However, the 2019 edition now features a Silver Ice Matt graphics with a blue frame, which has been inspired by the Ducati 125GP Desmo and we must admit, the new shade does make the bike even cooler. Other changes include new 17-inch spoke wheels and aluminium bar-end mirrors. The number 54 on the bike pays homage to Italian Grand Prix racer Bruno Spiaggiari.

The 2019 Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled now features a red frame, a new seat with colour-coordinated stitching and spoke wheels with black rims. In addition, the new Desert Sled also gets equipped with an ‘Off Road’ ride mode that allows ABS disengagement for having some fun on dirt.

On the mechanical front, all the three new Scramblers are powered by an 803cc, air-cooled, L-twin motor producing 73hp at 8,250rpm and 67Nm of torque at 5,750rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. We expect the 2019 Ducati Scrambler range to be launched in India bymid-2019. The Scrambler range in India starts at Rs 7.23 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and we expect the updated range to be priced at a slight premium.
