The new Tigor comes with an updated front fascia. Headlamp design has been tweaked and a projector lamp has been added to the mix as well. The front grille now gets a chrome outline along with a chrome strip on the bumper and chrome fog lamp surrounds.
The taillamp design too has been tweaked and now features LEDs with clear lens setup.
Inside, you get a larger 7.0-inch (Check) touchscreen compared to the 5.0-inch unit in the old car. The system comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Tata is also offering dual front airbags along with ABS and EBD as standard on the new Tigor. Rear parking sensors are also being offered as standard, though a reversing camera has been reserved for the top-of-the-line variant only.
There is, however, no change to the Tigor's powertrains. It will continue to be powered by a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Revotron petrol engine and 1.05-litre 3-cylinder Revotorq diesel engine. The petrol engine will be available with both 5-speed manual and AMT gearboxes, while the diesel comes with a 5-speed manual only.
At Rs 5.20 lakh to Rs 7.38 lakh, in terms of pricing, it competes directly with the recently launched.
