Avan Motors, a homegrown electric scooter manufacturer, has showcased six new offerings that it plans to launch in the country at the recently held Electric Vehicle Expo. These scooters will be sold alongside the Xero and the Xero Plus that are on sale currently.
While the company hasn't confirmed the model names or the variants, we know that two of the e-scooters will sport a large 72V/32Ah lithium battery along with 1200W motor.
The others will get a smaller 60V/26Ah lithium battery and 1000W motor. Avan says the top speed of the scooters will be limited to 45kmph, while the battery range may vary from 50km to 80km depending upon the capacity.
Avan says the six e-scooters will be launched sometime next year. In addition to this, the company is also planning to launch five additional variants in the near future. Each of them will be built locally to help reduce the number of imported components.
