The all-new D-Max was spied winter testing around a test track somewhere in the Scandinavian north. Spy photographers report the pickup has grown in size in every imaginable way. The most noticeable difference in the dual-cab variant (the only one on offer in India to private customers) is the larger rear doors, hinting at a possible improvement in passenger comfort.
The 1.9-litre, 4-cylinder turbo-diesel motor, which will power the, will also power the all-new D-Max. The 1.9-litre motor is paired to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission with an on-the-fly 4WD system and a low-range transfer case. It will also be offered with a 3.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo-diesel motor in some markets.
The all-new Isuzu D-Max is expected to make its global debut sometime later this year and be launched in most markets in 2020. But what is Isuzu India planning? The D-Max V-Cross is currently priced from Rs 15.32 lakh to Rs 16.82 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
