The AMT variant on the XUV300 is a welcome addition. It must be noted that is not the only Mahindra offering that is likely to feature the new transmission. The MPV is also expected to get the same 6-speed AMT gearbox and is likely to be launched early next year. As for the XUV300 AMT, the new variants, which are expected to be priced at a premium over their corresponding manual variants, will add to the SUV's desirability in the overcrowded segment.
