It's been 5 years since A3 graced our roads and the German brand is celebrating that by offering a price cut for the A3 model range. The revised pricing has made the A3 more affordable with prices starting at Rs 28.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
With the revised pricing in place, all four variants of the are now cheaper by around Rs 3.58 lakh to Rs 4.95 lakh:

The Audi A3 in India comes with two engine options - the 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine produces 143PS/320Nm while the 1.4-litre TFSI petrol engine makes 150PS and 250Nm of torque. The petrol engine is paired with a 7-speed automatic gearbox while the diesel comes with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Audi is also claiming an efficiency figure of 19.2 kmpl for the petrol and 20.38 kmpl for the diesel.
As far as features go, the A3 comes loaded with panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, 2 zone aircon with rear vents and more. The S line package, which uplifts the styling of the sedan, is also offered now and it comes with S line front and rear bumpers, side skirts, line radiator grille, line rear diffuser, tailpipes in chrome, illuminated door sill trims and S line badging on various parts.
The A3 in India faces competition in the form of CLA sedan which is priced from Rs 31.75 to Rs 36.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Taking this into the picture, the A3 sedan is now cheaper than the CLA by Rs 2.76 lakh, making a strong case for it.
