  • KTM dealerships across the country have confirmed the revised pricing for the KTM 125 Duke.
  • The entry-level KTM 125 Duke now retails at Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
  • It’s the third instance where the price of the bike has gone up.
  • The premium could be attributed to rising manufacturing costs.

KTM dealerships have confirmed that the brand has increased the price of its entry-level motorcycle yet again within a span of just three months. The KTM 125 Duke will now set you back by an additional Rs 5,000 which pushes the price of the bike to Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The price bump could be a result of increasing manufacturing costs.

It’s the third instance where KTM has increased the price of the 125 Duke ever since its launch back in November 2018. The 125 Duke was introduced at a price of Rs 1.18 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Post which, it received its first price revision of a little under Rs 7,000, bringing the cost of the bike to Rs 1.24 lakh. Following this, KTM hiked the price of its entire lineup, and the 125 Duke was a victim of a small premium of Rs 300.

Nevertheless, the bike has been doing wonders for the Austrian brand in terms of monthly sales. The baby Duke has managed to rope in numbers much higher than that of its elder siblings including the KTM 200 Duke, 250 Duke and the 390 Duke.

Enthusiasts have been drawn towards the KTM 125 Duke due to the fact that it offers premium components and thrilling riding dynamics without being overly intimidating. Dial in the fact that it’s the most affordable way to hop onto the KTM bandwagon and you have a win-win situation. That said, the ever-increasing price tag of the bike could put off potential buyers who’d rather look at more powerful motorcycles around the same price range, say the Yamaha MT-15, priced at Rs 1.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
