The Venue is offered 5 variants: E, S, SX, SX(O) and SX+ with three engine options. Hyundai currently offers three dual paint options- Lava Orange, Denim Blue and Polar White. It is likely that these options as well as additonal options could come in the top-spec variants. The petrol options include a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbo-petrol, good for 120PS/172Nm, and paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT. The other petrol option is a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated unit, which makes 83PS/115Nm, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The diesel variants are powered by a 1.4-litre unit that makes 90PS/220Nm paired with a 6-speed manual.

The Hyundai Venue has been pitched as India's first connected SUV with Hyundai Blue Link and accompanying features. Some of them include an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, climate control, six airbags, electronic stability control and hill assist.
