There has been a barrage of BS6 products hitting the Indian two-wheeler market, more now than ever. And this week bears witness to it. But that’s not all, Bengaluru-based electric startup Ather Energy intends to change the electric game with the Ather 450X. Here’s a quick look at the top five news stories that stood out from the rest.

 

TVS Launches BS6 Apache RR 310:

 

It’s not news that the Apache RR 310’s vibey motor put off potential customers from buying the sub-400cc faired bike. TVS tried to tone down the problem in its last update but to no avail. But it intends to turn the tables with the updated RR 310 which complies with BS6 emission norms. The flagship Apache now packs a ton of features too, some of which are new to the segment. Royal Enfield Classic 500 Tribute Black Launched:

Royal Enfield will soon pull its iconic long-stroke single-cylinder UCE 500cc engine off the shelf for good, but not before giving it a special send-off. The bikemaker has announced that it will soon roll out a special edition version called Tribute Black to pay homage to the platform. These motorcycles will carry a hallmark commemorative ‘End of Build’ serial numbered plaque along with some cosmetic changes that give it its distinctive look. KTM’s Entire India Model Lineup Is Now BS6-compliant!

The Austrian manufacturer has gone all out by updating its entire lineup to comply with BS6 emissions. To sweeten the deal further, KTM has thrown in new paint schemes and a complete makeover for the much-loved 200 Duke. The 390 Duke gets a couple of new features too! Bajaj Rolls Out BS6 Platina, CT100 And CT110:

Bajaj Auto hopped onto the BS6 bandwagon and rolled out not one by three updated motorcycles for 2020 - the Platina, CT100 And CT110. The Platina and CT range are the first motorcycles to get a BS6 carburetted motor while the CT 110 gets its own set of features - an LED DRL and an engine bash plate.
