  • Expect TVS to launch the BS6-compliant Sport and XL100 in a few weeks.
  • The new models could get a minor cosmetic update for 2020.
  • Power and torque figures could take a hit.

TVS is likely to launch its entire BS6-compliant range of two-wheelers soon. We have already done a report on the prices of the BS6 NTorq 125 and Radeon. Now, we have got our hands on the prices of the BS6-compliant TVS Sport and XL100.

According to our sources, the BS6 TVS Sport is priced at Rs 51,750 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the Kickstart Long Seat variant, making it around Rs 5,000 more expensive than before. The BS6-compliant XL100 will now retail at Rs 43,044 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the HDiTS variant, which is Rs 3,500 more than before. The XL100 Special Edition variant will retail at Rs 43,804. Wait, but which one is the HDiTS variant and which one is the Special Edition? We have done a detailed story explaining the XL100’s entire range. What remains to be seen is what changes has TVS done to the XL100. Because with an increment so minor, we think it could come with an electronic carb instead of a fuel injection system.

Apart from the prices, there’s no other information available for now. But we can expect a few things from the BS6-compliant Sport and the XL100. First, there could be a minor cosmetic update in the form of new colours and decals. Secondly, there could be a slight difference in power and torque figures compared to the older variants. In terms of underpinnings, both two-wheelers are expected to remain pretty much the same as their predecessors.

This is still a developing story, so stay tuned ZigWheels for further updates.
