The Mahindra KUV100 now costs between Rs 5.50 lakh and Rs 7.12 lakh (ex-showroom). The mid-spec K4+ trim, which is pricier by 16,000, sees the least price increase. Both base K2+ and top-spec K8 variants get a price hike of Rs 18,000.
While the BS4 KUV100 NXT was available in a total of eight variants, the petrol-only KUV100 comes in three variants: K2+, K4+, and K8. Mahindra has dropped the K6 trim level.
Under the bonnet, the BS6 engine is an updated form of the 1.2-litre mFalcon G80 engine. It made 82PS of power and 115Nm of torque, figures which could change slightly after the BS6 updates. It will be paired with a 5-speed manual transmission as before. The 78PS 1.2-litre diesel engine won't be upgraded to meet BS6 emission norms and will be discontinued.
Mahindra has simplified the KUV100 range with the new changes. Recent spy shots tell us that the KUV100 will continue to have a Trip variant equipped with CNG for fleet buyers.
