Mahindra's gutsier. It was showcased with a new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine and was supposed to be launched in April 2020. However, the current lockdown forced Mahindra to delay the launch. The carmaker is yet to reveal the revised launch date for the sportier XUV300.
The main talking point of the XUV300 Sportz lies under the hood. It features a new BS6-compliant that develops 130PS of power and 230Nm of torque, 20PS and 30Nm more than the stock petrol model. The XUV300 Sportz will be offered with a 6-speed manual initially, while an AMT version is expected to join the line later.
Other differentiating factors between the XUV300 Sportz and the standard model include cosmetic enhancements. Red brake callipers and plenty of body decals in the Sportz variant denote that you're driving the sportier model. Inside, it will be offered with a black dashboard with plenty of red accents on the seats and steering wheel.
