  • The accessories can be fitted onto both the Rebel 300 and the Rebel 500.
  • The fairing, LED headlight, and luggage mounts give off a very Harley Street Glide Special vibe.
  • Honda is expected to bring both Rebels to India.

Owning a Harley-Davidson is a childhood dream of many. But for many, the pricing becomes a bit of a stretch. Bikes like the Bajaj Avenger series give them a small taste of what the feeling of a cruiser is all about. The upcoming Honda Rebel 300 and Rebel 500 are for those who want slightly larger displacement cruisers. While we eagerly await the arrival of the Honda cruisers, Japanese custom house, Kijima Customs, has built a few accessories to give these bikes a mini Harley look.

The typical cruiser quarter-fairing is reminiscent of the Harley-Davidson Street Glide Special while the round LED headlight amps up its appeal. Kijima has also developed luggage stays, tail bag mount and given some elements like the headlight, turn indicators and console bezels a brass finish. It gets an LED taillight too which is small and quite Harley-like.

This idea does play well with Indians as we have seen loads of Bajaj Avengers being turned into Harley-Davidson Street 750-lookalikes, certain Indian custom houses making kit fitments of the same. When the Honda Rebel 300/500 does come to India, we can expect something similar.
