With the introduction of the new virtual Ad Personam studio based on the specialist department in Sant'Agata Bolognese in Italy, Lamborghini is offering online consultation services to customers all over the world who cannot make it to this venue. This service is for anyone who wants to customise their superfast beasts. To make things diabetically sweeter, the raging bull is offering a limited edition of the Aventador SVJ, dubbed the Xago edition, customised by the Ad Personam studio itself. The Xago edition will be produced for just ten clients who want to book a customised Aventador SVJ.
Ever had difficulty remembering the shape of the clouds above the planet Saturn's north pole? Or what is a very strong shape in nature? Well for some ridiculous reason, let's assume you wanted to know the answer to both questions: the hexagon. Lamborghini is here to make sure you never forget that fact with the fading hexagonal effect on the Xago edition.
Another inspiration for the hexagonal effect is the iconic hexagonita theme seen in all Lamborghinis in some form. Each of the ten models will have gloss black Nireo Ad Personam rims and a different contrasting paint livery making no two Xagos the same. Furthermore, each Xago edition will be individually distinguishable with a uniquely numbered license plate.
From July onwards, customers can pre-book a consultation session of two hours from dealerships around them. The sales specialists will join them virtually or at the showroom, along with the extensive options of Ad Personam customisations for the preferred Lambo model. This will be followed by a video call wherein a team from the studio will provide live design proposals and configuration suggestions for the relevant model. Finally, full proposals are sent to the client, with renderings and even material samples. Neat, uh?
Lamborghini introduced the Ad Personam service in 2013, with the studio materialising in Italy in 2016. With the new virtual platform, the Italian carmaker hopes for at least 150 orders from customers who want to customise their cars from the comfort of their homes during this pandemic.
