CFMoto has unveiled its flagship tourer, the 1250 TR-G, at the CIMA motor show in China. The full-size tourer was earlier revealed in the form of a police tourer. The new motorcycle uses KTM’s 1279cc LC8V-twin motor and gets premium underpinnings and features. The motorcycle will be manufactured in China and exported overseas.
The 1250 TR-G is a good looking tourer with large body panels, an adjustable windscreen and touring pannier set. The seats look wide and comfortable and the pillion gets a large backrest. It gets a large LED headlamp assembly with a TFT instrument console that includes a JBL multimedia system. Other features include electrically adjustable windscreen, tyre pressure monitor, heated grips and heated seats.
The 1279cc KTM sourced V-twin unit delivers 142PS and 120Nm of torque. It gets multiple rider modes as well. Premium underpinnings include Brembo-sourced brakes and electronically adjustable suspension from WP.
Now CFMoto does have a presence in India and used to sell the 300NK, 650NK, 650MT and 650GT here before the BS6 norms kicking in. While the bikes are expected to make a comeback soon in BS6 form, the large sports tourer could take some time to reach our shores.
