Toyota is offering its customers a free maintenance package on pre-booking the Urban Cruiser, Toyota's debut sub-4m SUV. The package, dubbed the 'Respect Package', is valid for 2 years or 20,000 km, whichever comes first, and is only valid on pre-launch bookings.

To give you a quick refresher, here's what we already know about the Urban Cruiser. First off, it is based on Maruti Suzuki's . Despite that, it will get its own identity thanks to Toyota's styling and a prominent grille, differentiating it from the Vitara Brezza. It will be offered in three variants: Mid, High, and Premium.

It is expected to follow the Vitara Brezza on the features front as well. The Mid variant is based on the Vitara Brezza's VXI variant, the High on the ZXI, and the Premium on the ZXI+. The Urban Cruiser will come with LED projector headlamps with DRLs, LED fog lamps and the option of diamond-cut alloy wheels. Prominent features on the equipment list include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers and auto climate control.

Under the hood, it will be powered by the same Maruti Suzuki K-Series 1.5-litre petrol engine as seen in the Vitara Brezza with a choice of a manual or an automatic gearbox with a mild-hybrid system in all three variants.

Toyota's first offering in the sub-4m SUV segment is already open for bookings at a token amount of Rs 11,000. It is expected to launch soon, most probably priced from Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 11.65 lakh. It will lock horns with the , and the car it is based on, the Vitara Brezza.
