Washington-based motorcycle brand Droog Moto has pulled the wraps off its latest creation, the DM-017 V2 E-Fighter, based on the Zero DS. Like other motorcycles from the brand, this one too looks like the perfect companion for the end of times.
It’s finished in jet black, save for some steel bits. The E-Fighter’s industrial design, complete with the solid, lightweight wheels shod with all-terrain tyres, looks ideal for the Mad Max universe or something even the Dark Knight would approve (it does come in black after all!). The minimalist design is complemented by a sleek LED headlamp and tail lamp.
Matching the aggressive design language is the equally manic motor. Using the Zero DS’ 46PS (34kW) motor with an upgraded battery pack, the bike is capable of achieving a top speed of 158kmph and an astounding 105Nm of instant torque. The upgrades aren’t limited to the performance and equipment though, but also extend to the suspension and brake setup. It also gets Bluetooth connectivity and fast charging.
Droog Moto specialises in modifying motorcycles, often turning them into unique, unrecognisable machines. Currently, the brand’s portfolio has four motorcycles, two of which are electric. Each motorcycle is built to order, allowing customers to customise everything right from the suspension setup to the seat height, rendering each bike unique.
With prices starting at USD 40,000, which translates to Rs 29.50 lakh, this doomsday motorcycle certainly isn’t cheap. For reference, the base variant of the Zero DS retails at USD 10,995 or Rs 8.1 lakh. What’s your take on Droog Moto’s latest creation? Let us know in the comments section.
