With the COVID-19 lockdown being lifted in most parts of the world, we witnessed a lot of launches in the month of October. BMW launched the G 310 twins in India. Hero refreshed its lineup just before Diwali while TVS came up with new Marvel edition colours. Here’s a complete list of launches in both India and overseas:
TVS NTorq SuperSquad Edition
TVS has collaborated with Marvel and launched the NTorq SuperSquad edition. It comes in three superhero inspired liveries which get a lot of easter eggs for Marvel fans. Check out the new colours and prices here.
Bajaj Pulsar 125 SS Drum Brake variant
The Bajaj Pulsar 125 Split Seat variant now gets more affordable. It now costs Rs 6,944 less than the Pulsar 125 SS disc brake variant and except for the front disc, remains cosmetically and mechanically similar. More details and prices here.
Bajaj CT100 KS
The new CT100 Kick Start variant is now Rs 1,542 more expensive than its predecessor but gets a host of cosmetic add-ons like fork gaiters, thigh grip pads braced handlebar, better-padded seat, chunkier grab handle, clear lens for the turn indicators, and larger mirrors. Triumph Trident 660
The Triumph Trident sits below the Street Triple range and features a potent 660cc in-line triple motor. This retro-styled roadster gets features like all LED lighting, a colour TFT instrument console and a host of electronic riding aids. Despite undercutting the Street Triple range, this affordable naked has impressive underpinnings as well. Know more about this India bound motorcycle here.
Hero Splendor+ Black and Accent Edition
Hero’s new Splendor + Black and Accent Edition gets blacked out engine, wheels and exhausts. Customers can also choose between 3 graphics schemes or for Rs 1,399 more opt for the whole special edition kit that includes the graphics, 3D Hero logo and rim tape. More details here.
Hero Pleasure Plus Platinum variant
The Pleasure Plus Platinum variant gets a matte black bodywork with dark brown and a dual tone seat. It gets rim tapes and a back rest as well. Prices and more details here.
Hero Glamour Blaze Edition
The Glamour gets a festive makeover as well in the form of a new neon green and silver paint scheme and a handlebar mounted USB charger. Prices and more details here.
Hero Maestro Edge Stealth Edition
Another Hero scooter to receive festive updates in the Maestro Edge 125. It gets a grey paint job with carbon fibre accents and a new livery as well as a white rim tape. Know more here.
2021 Yamaha MT-09
Yamaha has pulled the wraps off the MT-09 and it receives mixed reactions. While the styling isn't impressive, the spec sheet surely is. It now gets a larger 889cc motor, make more power, gets IMU based electronics and fully adjustable front suspension. The new MT-09 is expected to be launched in India next year. More details here.
BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS
BMW launched the BS6 versions of its G 310 GS and G 310 R motorcycles. Besides a cleaner motor, both motorcycles get an LED headlamp and new liveries. The bigger news though is the massive price cut both bikes receive which bring them closer to their rivals and make them a tempting proposition. Check out the new prices and images here.
Suzuki Burgman 125, Access 125 Connectivity edition
Suzuki has launched new bluetooth enabled editions of the Burgman and Access 125 scooters. The Access 125 now features a digital instrument console now. Besides connectivity, the instrument console features a revised layout and displays call and navigation alerts. More details and images here.
2021 Honda MX125 Grom
The Honda Grom receives a lot of upgrades as part of its generational update. It gets a new LED headlamp and swappable body panels. The Euro 5 compliant 125cc motor now gets a 5-speed gearbox as well. It even gets a track-spec variant. More details here.
