Buying an Audi car in India is set to get pricier from January 2021. The carmaker has announced that it will be increasing the prices of the A6, A7, A8L, Q2 and Q8. The entry-level model (Q2) currently retails from Rs 34.99 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.

Audi has decided to increase the prices of all its models by up to 2 percent. It has attributed this increment to currency fluctuations and rising input costs.

The carmaker is having a pretty busy festive season with the recent launches of the Q2 and the Q8 Celebration. The Q2 retails from Rs 34.99 lakh to Rs 48.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The Q8 Celebration, on the other hand, is priced at Rs 98.89 lakh (ex-showroom), with the standard variant of the Q8 retailing at Rs 1.33 crore (ex-showroom).

Audi is set to continue its launch spree with the S5 Sportback expected later this month. Besides, the facelifted Q7 and Q5 along with the e-tron electric SUV are expected to launch between December 2020 and January 2021.
