The festive season is underway and apart from the usual discounts and special edition models, it's a time that sees an influx of new car launches in the country. The month of November has already witnessed the launch of the of the Amaze and WR-V. Here are all the models in the pipeline:
Hyundai i20 2020
Launch Date: November 5
Expected Price: Rs 6 lakh
One of the most anticipated launches this month is, of course, the premium hatchback. Pre-bookings have already commenced and can be made either online or at authorised dealerships for a token amount of Rs 21,000. It will be offered in four variants: Magna, Sportz, Asta and Asta (O).
The i20 is set to get a comprehensive generational update with a design similar to its Euro-spec counterpart that follows Sensuous Sportiness design language, albeit with some tweaks. The cabin itself is slated to be packed with features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen, BlueLink connected car tech, wireless charging and a Bose sound system.
It will be offered with three engine options: 1.2-litre petrol, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel. Expect a variety of transmission combinations like a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, iMT clutchless manual, CVT and DCT automatic gearboxes. The new i20 will rival the .
Tata Harrier Camo Edition

Another special edition on the way is the Camo Edition. It will be offered in six variants: XT, XT+, XZ, XZA, XZ+ and XZA+. That's the same as the Harrier Dark Edition. It's likely to be priced at a similar premium of around Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000 over to its standard counterparts. The other difference is that it will come in a green body shade with accents all over.
Expect the cabin upholstery to be similar to the Harrier Dark Edition but features are likely to remain unchanged. The next expected car launch this month could be the electric SUV. It will be Jaguar's first all-electric offering in the country. It will be offered in three variants: S, SE and HSE and up to 12 colour options. The SUV will be powered by twin-electric motors producing a combined total of 400PS and 696Nm. It's also pretty quick off the line with a 0-100kmph sprint in 4.8 seconds and a 200kmph top speed.

Audi S5 Sportback

Highlights include a sharp single-frame grille with LED headlamps and DRLs, sporty bumpers, and Audi's updated MMi infotainment system which can only be controlled via touch inputs. Expect features such as a premium sound system, various drive modes, keyless entry with push button start/stop, ambient lighting, and the latest version of Audi's Virtual cockpit. It is a proper five-seater sedan with features such as LED headlamps with sharp DRLs, a strong silhouette, and a swanky tail light design. It's fairly loaded on the inside too with a twin-screen layout consisting of the digital driver's display and a touchscreen infotainment system. Highlights include electronically adjustable seats, Mercedes Me connected car tech, the latest MBUX software, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, a touchpad centre console, smartphone integration, voice commands and wireless charging. A reversing camera, lane keep assist and seven airbags are some of the safety features on offer.
The first variant likely to be offered is the AMG which was also showcased at the Expo, more specifically, the AMG A35 4MATIC. It utilises a 2.0-litre twin-turbo petrol engine that delivers 306PS of grunt and 400Nm of twist. It is paired with a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox with all-wheel-drive. Standard variants would be introduced at a later stage with 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engines, although detailed specs are yet to be revealed.
