GLC coupe that's priced from Rs 62.70 lakh (ex-showroom). Not only does it get all the updates from its standard counterpart, but it also adds a bit of AMG into the mix.
On the outside, it is pretty much similar to the standard GLC coupe, aside from the AMG bits that add to the sportiness of the SUV coupe. This includes AMG's Panamericana slatted grille, flanked by sportier bumpers, and a swanky set of 20-inch AMG alloy wheels.
Not much has changed inside other than the sports front seats and a new flat-bottom steering wheel setup. Feature highlights include a 12.3-inch digital driver's display, a 10.25-inch touchscreen with MBUX infotainment, a Burmeister sound system, wireless charging, Mercedes Me Connect, 64-colour ambient lighting, and seven airbags.
The crux of the AMG 43 Coupe is under the hood. Powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol, it pushes out 390PS of grunt and 520Nm of twist. Power is transferred to all four wheels via a 9-speed automatic gearbox to help it go from 0-100kmph in 4.9 seconds. All this gives the SUV coupe an electronically limited top speed of 250kmph. It also gets five drive modes to choose from: Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport+ and Individual.
Expect more AMG models to be manufactured locally as completely knocked down units. It will go up against the recently launched, but the Macan itself is set to get the spicier GTS and Turbo variants in India soon.
