A Sensuous Sportiness Evolution

Under the hood, the next-gen i20 will have 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel engine options to play with. On top of that, there's also a plethora of manual and automatic transmission combinations to choose from. That said, its most powerful 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine option will miss out on a proper manual gearbox. Bookings for the premium hatchback are open at a token amount of Rs 21,000 that can be done online or at authorised dealerships. Prices are expected to range from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) and it'll be offered in four variants: Magna, Sportz, Asta and Asta (O). Hyundai will also offer the premium hatchback in Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Titan Grey, Fiery Red, Starry Night and Metallic Copper body shade options. There's also dual-tone options in the form of Polar White with Black Roof and Fiery Red with Black Roof.
