TVS sent out a ‘block your date’ invite last month for the global unveiling of its new motorcycle on November 4, 2020. While the invitation did not mention what type of motorcycle it will be, it did hint that the new motorcycle would be under its premium brand, Apache. Finally, with less than 24 hours for the unveil, the cat is out of the bag (almost!)

TVS has shared a teaser and an image on its social media handles that shows it is a naked roadster and not a special edition RR 310 as earlier we had speculated it to be. While we would have also loved a streetfighter based on the flagship supersport to roll out of Hosur, those dreams were laid to rest by the skinny telescopic forks and missing radiator. However, the bike seems to sport knuckle guards. As the brand celebrates its milestone of selling four million Apaches, we recon, this could be a special edition of the Apache RTR 160 4V, clad in unique livery and may even get the SmartXonnect bluetooth connectivity.

TVS recently launched the Ntorq 125 SuperSquad Edition at Rs 77,965 which demands a premium of Rs 2,500 over the Race Edition. The special edition Apache is likely to follow suit and could be dearer by Rs 2,000 over the standard model that retails at Rs 1.08 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
