has introduced a special warranty plan called 'Anytime Warranty' for all its passenger cars. The previous warranty period was for up to 7 years. Now, the company offers an extension that can be availed for cars younger than 7 years of age, with fewer than 1,00,000km on the odometer. The maximum duration of the warranty is 10 years and 1,20,000km. It will be awarded for 1 year and 20,000km at a time.

The Anytime Warranty can be availed even after the expiration of the standard and extended warranties. However, the rates applicable to each vehicle will be higher. For example, the cost of the Anytime warranty for the 7th year for a Honda Brio is Rs 6,527. If there is a break in warranty coverage, the cost gets hiked to Rs 7,335. Prices increase for each successive year.

Anytime Warranty is available for all Honda models of passenger cars. Even the. However, if the car's service records aren't comprehensive or there is a break in the warranty coverage, Honda can charge you Rs 11,155 and Rs 62,911 for the Brio and CR-V, respectively.

The new warranty scheme is likely to make the ownership experience of Honda buyers less stressful.
