- Only female riders and riders under the age of 16 will be eligible for the discount.

California Superbike School, one of the world’s premier riding schools, will be returning to our shores this year. Popularly known as CSS, the school will be conducting two sessions in August. The first session will take place on August 23, 24 and 25 while the second session will take place from August 30 to September 1. Both sessions will be held at the Madras Motor Race Track (MMRT) in Chennai.
To promote women in motorsports, the school will be offering 58 per cent discount to female riders and participants under the age of 16 for the first weekend. This means you might end up paying just Rs 25,000, instead of the normal fee of Rs 60,000. The next weekend, however, will see a discount of Rs 10,000 over the Rs 60,000 fee.
In case you own a BMW motorcycle, anything from a G 310 R to an S 1000 RR, you’ll be eligible for an additional discount of Rs 20,000. This means, under the right conditions, you might end up paying just around Rs 5,000 for the first session.
This fee will be inclusive of GST, insurance cover, food and fuel. However, accommodation and logistics will need to be borne by the rider. It is also mandatory for every rider to have a full riding gear and a D-ring helmet. Now coming to the whole experience itself, the training sessions are divided into different modules. Out of which only Level 1 and 2 programmes will be conducted under the supervision of CSS trainers. We’ve had a first-hand experience on this, head here for our full report -
