Suzuki appears to have begun dispatching the Burgman Street in a new matte-black colour scheme. This comes exactly one year after the Burgman was introduced (July 2018). The matte-black colour scheme will most likely come as an addition to the three existing colour schemes (gloss black, grey and white) already on offer.

The only change on the Burgman spotted in the picture is the new colour scheme; everything else is expected to remain unchanged. It uses the same maxi-scooter styling inspired by the larger Burgman range sold in global markets. The scooter gets a fully digital instrument cluster and an LED headlight. However, under its skin, it uses the same mechanicals as the Access 125.

Powering the scooter is an Access-sourced 124.3cc motor producing 8.7hp at 7,000rpm and 10.2Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. Other mechanicals of the Burgman Street are also shared with its 125cc sibling. Braking hardware consists of a disc-brake unit at the front and a drum unit at the rear. With a kerb weight of 108kg, the Burgman Street weighs 7kg more than the Access 125, which sits at 101kg.

Since its launch in July last year, the Burgman Street has only gone up in price by Rs 1,208 and it now costs Rs 69,208 (ex-showroom, Delhi). We expect the price for the matte-black model to remain the same; and will confirm that when Suzuki makes an official announcement.
