  • The RV400 could be priced lower than or around Rs 1 lakh.
  • You can change the exhaust note of the bike via Revolt’s official phone app.
  • Bookings have already commenced on the company’s website and on Amazon.in.

After much delay, Revolt is all set to launch its first all-electric motorcycle, the RV400, in India tomorrow. The manufacturer began accepting bookings for the RV400 on June 25 for a token amount of Rs 1,000. If you’re interested, then you can either book the RV400 on the company’s website or on Amazon.in. As of now, there’s no word on the price, but after the recent reduction of GST on electric vehicles and the FAME-II subsidies, we expect the RV400 to cost lower than or around Rs 1 lakh.

When the RV400 was first showcased, the company had revealed a whole array of features that are quite rare for a motorcycle in its class. From remote start functionality to geo-fencing with theft protection, the RV400 packs a tonne of features that could keep occupied all day long. Apart from this, the manufacturer has also launched a dedicated mobile application which displays various information such as ride statistics, battery statistics, and more. What’s more interesting is that you can change the faux exhaust note which mimics traditional internal combustion engine’s soundtrack.

The Revolt RV400 has an ARAI-certified range of 156km while the top speed is limited to 85kmph, which we feel is quite sufficient for city commutes. While the company has not released the official specifications yet, we know that it gets a conventional suspension setup - a telescopic fork up front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking hardware consists of disc brakes at both ends with CBS as standard. Stay tuned to ZigWheels because you don’t want to miss our first ride report, do you?
