As seen in the table above, prices for the Venue diesel have increased by Rs 17,000 to Rs 51,000 depending on the variant you pick.
The is essentially a detuned version of the Seltos and Creta's diesel motor. The Venue's motor develops 100PS of power and 240Nm of torque, 15PS and 10Nm less powerful than the Creta's unit. However, it's 10PS and 20Nm more powerful than the 1.4-litre CRDI diesel engine which developed 90PS and 220Nm. Just like before, the Venue 1.5-litre diesel engine is offered with a 6-speed manual transmission. There's no automatic transmission on offer with the diesel engine, which puts it at a slight disadvantage.
