  • The updated 125cc motor makes 0.2PS less than before.
  • Expect a slight change in its fuel efficiency figures as well.
  • Its underpinnings will remain the same as before, though.

Bajaj is set to launch the Pulsar 125 BS6 soon. Unofficial bookings for the motorcycle are already underway for a token amount ranging from Rs 500 to Rs 1,000 depending on the dealership. According to our sources, the Bajaj Pulsar 125 BS6 could retail at around Rs 73,000 (ex-showroom), making it Rs 6,500 more expensive than before. Now though, we have got our hands on leaked RTO documents that reveal some more crucial information about the baby Pulsar.

As per the documents, the updated 125cc motor makes 11.8PS at 8500rpm (down by 0.2PS). Although the documents don’t reveal the torque figure, we expect it to be similar to the older BS4 model. For reference, the older model put out 11Nm at 6500rpm. Apart from these minor changes, the rest of the motorcycle will remain the same as before. We expect the BS6 model to offer the same level of performance as its BS4 predecessor.

Apart from the Pulsar 125, Bajaj will also launch the rest of its BS6-compliant motorcycles soon. Some like the NS160 and the Avenger 220 have already been spotted at dealerships. However, it is not just the current portfolio that Bajaj is updating. The Pune-based bike maker is all set to introduce the Dominar 250. What? A 250cc Dominar? Yes, the motorcycle has been spotted at dealerships and here’s everything you need to know about it!
