Holi, also known as the festival of colours, is one of the most widely celebrated festivals in India. The beauty of this festival is when people spread happiness with the use of vibrant colours. And while this festival might not be related to cars in any single way, we thought this would be a right time to look at some popular cars known by their colours:

Maruti Suzuki S-Presso - Solid Sizzle Orange:

The with its narrow width, tall proportions and bulbous nose design is by no means a head turning design. But if you pick up an S-Presso in "Solid Sizzle Orange", it might attract more attention than Emma Watson attending the Grammys award function. In fact, during our shootout with the Renault Kwid, the S-Presso finished in orange managed to turn more heads than the premium Kwid.

Tata Altroz - High-Street Gold:

The with its IMPACT 2.0 design language is one good looking premium hatchback in our books. And complementing its design further is the "High-Street Gold" shade which looks mesmerizing, especially when we were shooting the Altroz at dawn. This vivid colour also makes the Altroz stand out from the crop of cars which utilise a variety of tried and tested shades. Tata Motors also markets the Altroz as the Gold standard and we bet they got that tag from this particular shade.

All Nexa Cars - Nexa Blue:

All Maruti cars sold via Maruti's premium channel, Nexa, have a common colour option: Nexa Blue. This shade of dark blue gives it an uniform theme and makes it stand out from the rest of Maruti Suzuki cars. And while it looks good on all five cars -- Ignis, Baleno, Ciaz, S-Cross and, we want to know which is your favourite Nexa car with the Nexa Blue shade. Let us know in the comments section below.

Maruti Suzuki Swift - Solid Fire Red:

The, a car known for its sporty dynamics, is a car for enthusiasts. And a colour that compliments its sporty intentions quite well is the "Solid Fire Red" shade. This Swift looks the sportiest in this particular shade and also complements the smooth flowing lines and 3-door-like profile. We bet this colour would also be the perfect choice for those of you intending to kit out the Swift with larger alloy wheels and a lowered suspension. Sweet, ain't it?

Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza - Granite Grey With Autumn Orange Roof:

The facelifted comes with a cosmetic update giving it an air of freshness. Along with the cosmetic update, Maruti also introduced an array of colour options. Our pick would be the "Granite Grey With Autumn Orange Roof" option which adds a dash of funkiness and stands out from the standard black/red, black/blue dual tone options. However, if you like it a bit simple, you might need to look at other colour options.

2020 Hyundai Creta - Phantom Black:

Yes, you still need to wait a bit more for the.

Kia Seltos - Intense Red:

The does look great in all the colour options the carmaker offers it with. However, the car's trademark colour -- Intense Red -- does suit its premium design quite well. It also highlights all the premium design elements like the extended DRLs, dual-tone alloy wheels and the use of minimal chrome quite well. But, I'd rather prefer the 'Punchy Orange' Shade in the GT line trim.

Mahindra Scorpio - Pearl White:

ZW-Mahindra-Scorpio

The has been the go-to model for those who want a tough body-on-frame SUV without breaking the bank. It has one popular colour choice: "Pearl White". This no-nonsense colour has been popular with the Scorpio and almost all limited editions of the SUV were in White. It also commands one of the highest resale value in the used car market.

Have we missed out on your favourite car in this list? Why don't you let us know in the comments section below? Until then, have a safe and colourful Holi.
