The global automotive industry received a bombshell when the 2020 Geneva Motor Show had to be cancelled owing to the threat of the coronavirus. Yes, it was a major blow to exhibitors and people anxious to check out new models in the flesh, but some carmakers soldiered on without a hitch. This week saw an influx of multiple supercars/hypercars unveiled with mind boggling figures. Here's the best of them:

Pininfarina Battista Anniversario
While we yet to see the standard Battista hit the road, the carmaker has gone ahead and unveiled a special edition of the hypercar called the Battista Anniversario, limited to only 5 production units. It celebrates 90 years of the Pininfarina brand. It is mechanically unchanged under the hood at 1900PS and 2300 Nm, but it is 10 kg lighter thanks to new 21-inch wheels. Koenigsegg Gemera
Koenigsegg is well known for producing works of engineering art, and the Gemera is nothing less. It is a 4-seater GT that produces a whopping 1724PS of power out of a 2.0-litre three-cylinder twin-turbo petrol engine and three electric motors. All this gives a 0-100kmph sprint time of 1.9 seconds and a top-speed of 400kmph. It can also run in fuel combinations like ethanol, CO2 neutral methanol and normal fuel. While the prices aren't out yet, we know that only 300 units will be built. Head for more.

Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut
The long drawn out battle between Bugatti and Koenigsegg over top speeds looks set to come to a close soon, with the unveil of the Jesko Absolut. Its twin-turbo 5.0-litre V8 will now produce a mind boggling 1600PS of power and 1500Nm of torque. The top speed figures haven't been revealed, but the carmaker claims it will be the fastest car it ever built. Can it become the first production car to break the 500kmph threshold? Only time will tell.
Mclaren 765LT
And finally, the hottest car unveil of all has to be the McLaren with the 765LT. LT being short for Long Tail, the 765LT gets a serious amount of alterations to shave extra seconds off the racetrack. As the name suggests, it produces 765PS of power and 800Nm of torque out of a 4.0-litre M840T twin-turbo V8 to give a 0-100kmph sprint in 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 330kmph. Being an LT model, it is 80kg lighter than the 720S it is based on thanks to a revised exhaust system, new wheels and a lot of carbon fibre. Limited to only 765 units, you can read more about it.
