Prices for the Scorpio have been hiked by Rs 60,000 in the transition to BS6. While is yet to reveal the base-spec S5 variant's price, it's safe to assume that it could receive a similar hike. The S3, S7 120PS and S11AWD variants have been discontinued from the lineup.
The Mahindra Scorpio BS6 utilises the tried and tested 2.2-litre diesel engine with upgrades to meet BS6 emission standards. Unlike before, the BS6 version of this engine will be offered in its 140PS/320Nm guise only. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission. Nope, there isn't an automatic variant or an all-wheel drive variant in the BS6 Scorpio.
