Variants:

The 2020 Nissan Kicks will be offered in four variants: XL, XV, XV Premium and XV Premium (O). The base-spec 1.5-litre petrol engine will be offered in XL and XV trims while the turbo-petrol engine will come in XV, XV Premium and XV Premium (O) variants. If you want the turbo-petrol automatic, your options are limited to the XV and XV Premium trims.

Colour Options:

The 2020 Nissan Kicks will be offered in six single-tone and three dual-tone colours. The single-tone colours are silver, black, grey, red, white and blue. On the other hand, the dual-tone options are grey/orange, red/black, and white/black -- these will be offered in the top-spec XV Premium (O) variant only.

Features:

Notable features in the 2020 Kicks include connected car technology, a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, climate control, remote engine start stop, fog lamps with cornering function, auto headlamps and wipers, and push-button start. Safety features on offer are four airbags, ABS with EBD, 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, and hill start assist.

The 2020 Nissan Kicks will be offered with two BS6 petrol engines: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine and a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol unit. The NA petrol motor could develop 104PS while the turbo-petrol engine puts out 156PS and 254Nm. The 1.5-litre petrol engine will be offered with a manual while the turbo-petrol motor can be had with either a CVT or manual. Nope, the tried-and-tested 1.5-litre diesel engine hasn't been upgraded to meet BS6 emission standards and has been discontinued.

Expected Price and Rivals:

The only missing piece in the 2020 Kicks' puzzle is its price, which is expected to be revealed after the lockdown. Expect it to cost more than its BS4 predecessor which was priced at Rs 9.55 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2020 Kicks will rival the, MG Hector, and the 2020 Hyundai Creta.
