While this isn't mind boggling figures for its size, keep in mind that this engine was designed for a heavy duty truck. One of the highlights of this engine is that its push-rod engine is relatively compact and can be installed into a range of pick-up trucks.
The engine is sold by Ford Performance at a price tag of USD 8,150 (Rs 6.09 lakh). Aside from the fully equipped block, you get parts like the intake and throttle body, left and right exhaust manifolds, production oil pan/cooler, Ignition coils and wires, production flex plate and factory lift brackets with the motor.
Could this engine be Ford's way of competing against the GM LS engine swap trend that has been popular amongst the aftermarket community?
