Jawa has announced that deliveries for its BS6 Perak will commence on July 20 after being delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. It has also revealed that the new BS6-compliant Perak makes more torque than before. Its 334cc liquid-cooled and fuel-injected motor delivers 30.64PS and 32.74Nm, 1.74Nm more torque than before. According to Jawa, the new motorcycle has optimised gear ratios for better ride experience.

The bikemaker has also announced four finance offers for the bobber. Customers can either opt for a 50 per cent discount on the first three EMIs or for a special EMI plan of Rs 6,666. A two-year loan will attract an EMI as low as Rs 8,000 while a 3-year plan calls for an EMI of Rs 6,000. Jawa is also offering up to 100 per cent finance and zero downpayment on the Perak.

The Jawa Perak is the most affordable bobber you can buy in India. Compared to the Jawa and Jawa 42, the Perak gets a larger motor and makes more power and torque than the two. The Perak gets a different frame with a rear monoshock setup. While it has no direct competitors, price-wise, the Jawa Perak takes on the top-spec Royal Enfield Classic 350 BS6 and the Benelli Imperiale 400.
