- S-Cross petrol will be on sale next month; to be sold via Nexa outlets
Maruti Suzuki’s premium vehicle network, Nexa, has just crossed the five-year milestone (since its creation). Over this period, the Nexa dealer network has catered to over 1.1 million customers looking to buy its products.
What is Maruti Suzuki Nexa?
As briefly mentioned above, the Nexa network essentially deals with Maruti Suzuki’s more premium offerings and was first introduced back in 2015. At present, it sells models like the Ignis, Baleno, Ciaz and XL6. The Nexa dealerships also aim to incorporate improved hospitality and new technology (like the augmented reality tech) in its sales process.
How big is the Nexa network?
Currently, the Maruti Suzuki Nexa network consists of over 350 showrooms that are spread across more than 200 cities in India. This makes the Nexa the third largest retail automobile channel (in terms of volume).
In related news, Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to launch the S-Cross petrol on August 5, 2020. The S-Cross will only be offered with a BS6-compliant, 105hp, 1.5-litre petrol engine, with both, a manual and automatic gearbox option. The S-Cross will continue to be sold via the Nexa dealerships.
