  • The schemes are designed to provide customers added flexibility in repayment of car loans
  • The Toyota Innova Crysta can be had with a new ‘Low EMI’ scheme.
  • The 3-month EMI holiday scheme is available on all Toyota models, except the Vellfire

With the novel coronavirus continuing to impact our day-to-day lives, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has introduced a number of new finance schemes for the month of July, to increase accessibility to its range of cars for its customers. These schemes are aimed at making the repayment of car loans more flexible and convenient for potential customers looking to buy a Toyota model now.

This month, TKM has introduced a special scheme just for the Innova Crysta, which was recently upgraded to meet the BS6 emission norms. With the update, Toyota dropped the 2.8-litre diesel engine, and carried forward the 2.4-litre diesel and the 2.7-litre petrol unit.

TKM’s new finance schemes include the following:

Low EMI Scheme – Customers can avail EMIs as low as Rs 9,999 for the first three months of the tenure. The EMI gets adjusted after that period for the rest of the tenure. This scheme is only applicable on the Toyota Innova Crysta.

EMI Holiday for three months – With this scheme, customer can purchase their desired car now and begin paying the EMIs for it after 90 days. This scheme is applicable on Toyota’s entire India line-up, except for the Vellfire.

Assured Buyback – Toyota is offering an assured buyback plan (of up to 55 percent of the value) for the Yaris sedan and Glanza hatchback. With this, Yaris and Glanza customers don’t have to be concerned about losing resale value when it’s time to sell the car.

The carmaker had also introduced a number of finance schemes last month that were applicable on various models in its range. Toyota’s current Indian line-up consists of six BS6-compliant models – Glanza, Yaris, Camry Hybrid, Innova Crysta, Fortuner and Vellfire.

Additionally, Toyota has recently rejigged the Yaris’ variant line-up and hiked the prices for the Camry and Vellfire. It is also working towards launching the new Urban Cruise compact SUV – which is based on the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza – by August this year.
