A few months back, we had reported that Benelli will be launching the successor of the TNT 300 and the same has now been unveiled in China. Benelli has showcased the new 352S, which might be renamed TNT 350 in international markets. The new Benelli 352S is an important bike as the upcoming Harley-Davidson 350 motorcycle will be based on it. However, recent reports indicate that Harley might delay the project or even shelve it entirely given the ongoing trade war between the US and China.

Coming back to the Benelli TNT 350, it looks similar to the 2020 TNT 600 which was also recently showcased. The big change is the all-new LED headlight which has been inspired by the Kawasaki Z1000 and gives the bike a menacing face. Even the sharp tank extensions, muscular fuel tank, and the compact tail section with stepped seats make it look more modern and edgy. The Benelli TNT 300, on the other hand, had more rounded surfaces. The semi-digital instrument cluster has been replaced with an all-digital TFT screen and even the turn indicators are LED units. It still features an underbelly exhaust muffler and redesigned alloy wheels.

The Benelli TNT 350 is powered by a 353cc liquid-cooled and parallel-twin motor that is rated at 36PS. The Benelli TNT 300’s motor produced 38PS and 26.5Nm. Despite the addition of 50cc, power output has been dropped by 2PS possibly as a result of the engine meeting the Euro5/BS6 emission norms. Whether that’s the actual reason is something we shall find out once the specifications have been revealed officially. It continues to sport a 6-speed gearbox

As you can see in the images, the underpinning of the new Benelli 352S are identical to its predecessor. The tubular steel frame is suspended on a USD fork and a monoshock. Braking hardware consists of a twin disc at the front and a single disc at the back with what looks like a single-channel ABS. Benelli claims the new bike weighs 176kg (kerb weight), which makes it 20kg lighter than the TNT 300.

It’s unclear when Benelli India will bring the TNT 350 to our market given the tension between our country and China. Benelli recently launched the BS6 version of the Imperiale 400 with a massive price hike of Rs 20,000.
