The between the convertible soft top and fixed hard top variants. Here are the results.

Around 550 respondents had participated in this poll and a majority of you voted for the more practical hard top variant over the convertible soft top variant. We must admit that the Thar looks great with either roof options and is sure to stand out. This is the first time that the Thar is being offered with a convertible soft top and a hard top right from the factory. The previous model only came with a fixed soft top.

But if you were to ask me, I'd choose the convertible soft top over the practical hard top variant. The Thar is a lifestyle vehicle and I would want it to stand out from the crowd. With the convertible soft top, I could drop the roof down on a rainy day and enjoy a hardcore session of mudding. And since the Thar's cabin is IP54 water and dust rated, a nice spa therapy after the mudding session will ensure that it's as good as new before taking it out for work the next day. I could also drop the roof down when the weather permits and for a drive through the urban jungle as well.

Apart from these variants, you can also have the Thar with a fixed soft top. We.
