Skoda India has redesigned its Service Maintenance Package. Branded with the name "SuperCare," it offers preventive maintenance and wear and tear repair. Customers also get a new Extended Warranty Programme. So what all do these two entail? Let's find out.
For starters, SuperCare is available to customers in the form of three options: Standard, Enhanced, and Comprehensive Packages. The Standard option covers engine oil, oil filter, drain plug, washer, air / pollen / fuel filter, spark plug, brake fluid, V belt, HALDEX coupling oil, ATF, etc. On top of this, the Enhanced Package covers front windshield wipers, front and rear brake pads and disc, etc. Finally, over these both, the Comprehensive Package covers battery, flywheel, and clutch assembly.
New customers can choose from these three options at a starting price of Rs 29,999, covering a period of 4 years/60,000 km. Existing customers can also benefit with SuperCare for 2 years/ 30,000 km at a price of Rs 15,777. For new customers, SuperCare can be availed within the first year of purchase or before the car's first service.
Along with SuperCare, Skoda is also offering an Extended Warranty Programme. It entails upto 6 years/ 1,50,000 km warranty extension. Any Skoda owner is eligible for this extension on the conditions that the purchase of the car was made on or after September 1, 2016, and has been driven for less than 97,000 km.
These two new offerings from Skoda India have been introduced in an attempt to attract more customers and reduce the fear of high maintenance costs over a long period of time.
