Most of you probably remember the. Now, we've got some good news for those of you who've been waiting eagerly for the Vision IN as the company's director, Zac Hollis, has just revealed its launch timeline.
Hollis had tweeted that the Vision IN will be launched in Q2 2021. That means one can expect the SUV to reach showrooms between April and June 2021. The Vision IN will be Skoda's first made-for-India product under its India 2.0 strategy. It'll be underpinned by a heavily localised version of the MQB-A0 platform, dubbed the MQB-A0-IN.
This SUV will be a petrol-only offering and will come with two turbo-petrol engine options: a 1.0-litre TSI unit and a 1.5-litre TSI motor. The smaller engine, which will be similar to the, could develop 110PS and 175Nm while the larger motor could put out 150PS and 250Nm. Both engines are likely to be offered with an automatic transmission while the manual gearbox might be limited to the smaller unit.
