Toyota Urban Cruiser Teased Again Bookings To Open By August End

From a design standpoint, it will share most of its design elements with the . But the teaser images from Toyota hint that the Urban Cruiser will have its own identity. The grille and bumper are easily distinguishable from the teaser and we can expect the tail lamps and the interior theme to follow suit. The Urban Cruiser will get the same wheel design as the Vitara Brezza, just rebadged.

Expect features like a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, climate control, LED headlamps, LED fog lamps and keyless entry with push-button start to be borrowed from the Vitara Brezza. The Urban Cruiser will offer standard safety features such as ABS with EBD, dual airbags, and rear parking camera like the Brezza.

The Urban Cruiser will be powered by Maruti's K15B 1.5-litre petrol engine with mild hybrid tech. In its current state of tune, the unit produces 104PS and 138Nm. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual transmission and a 4-speed torque converter -- the same as, yep, you guessed it, the Maruti SUV.
