Buyers of the Hyundai Tucson and Hyundai Elantra will now be eligible for additional benefits, with Hyundai India introducing the ‘Premium Assurance’ programme for its most expensive sedan and SUV. But what exactly is part of Hyundai Premium Assurance? Let’s take a look.

  • Premium Assurance brings 3-year BlueLink subscription
  • Elantra, Tucson owners also get 3-year maintenance package
  • Elantra and Tucson sit at the top of Hyundai’s sedan and SUV range

What benefits does Premium Assurance bring for Hyundai Tucson, Elantra owners?

Those purchasing a Hyundai Tucson or Elantra are now covered by the Premium Assurance programme, which gives buyers the flexibility of the 5-year ‘Wonder Warranty’, letting them swap the standard 3-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty for a 4-year/60,000km or 5-year/50,000km option at no additional cost.

Additionally, Elantra and Tucson owners will also be eligible for a 3-year/30,000km maintenance package, which eliminates charges for labour and consumables during a routine service.

Also, part of the Premium Assurance programme are 3 years of free roadside assistance, a 3-year subscription to Hyundai’s BlueLink connected car services, 3 MapCare navigation updates and a ‘Shubhaarambh’ home visit by a Hyundai executive within 15 days of the vehicle delivery to explain the features and address any queries the buyer may have.

What else should I know about the Hyundai Tucson and Elantra?

Both the Hyundai Tucson as well as the Hyundai Elantra have been around for a few years now in their current generation. The Elantra facelift was launched in India late last year, while the Tucson facelift was first previewed at Auto Expo 2020 and was finally launched in July. Both sit at the top of their respective ranges, the Elantra (priced between Rs 17.60 – 20.65 lakh, ex-showroom) is Hyundai’s most expensive sedan on sale in our market, while the Tucson (priced between Rs 22.30 –27.03 lakh, ex-showroom) is Hyundai India’s flagship SUV.

The striking next-generation Hyundai Tucson and Hyundai Elantra have already been revealed abroad, but at this point, there is no official word on when the two will arrive on our shores.
