The Harrier XT+ costs Rs 59,000 more than the XT variant. For the extra dough, you get a panoramic sunroof, a feature most of us love. This addition makes the variant a well-rounded package. Sure, niceties like HID projector headlamps, terrain modes, a 9-speaker JBL sound system, powered driver's seat, a semi-digital instrument display and auto-dimming IRVM are missed.

But along with the sunroof, the XT+ comes with essentials such as a smaller 7-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-speaker sound system, drive modes, halogen projector headlamps with LED DRLs, keyless entry with push button start, climate control, cruise control, and even auto headlamps and wipers. Safety is taken care of by dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, hill hold control and traction control.

While it is well equipped, Tata Motors should have provided this particular variant with the 6-speed torque converter automatic option. Instead, it's being offered with a 6-speed manual transmission only that comes paired to the 170PS 2.0-litre diesel engine.
