Jeep Compass facelift in India

Though there are new engines available overseas, the Compass facelift in India will continue to be powered by the same engines as the outgoing model. These include a 173hp, 2.0-litre diesel engine and a 163hp, 1.4-litre turbo-petrol. As was the case with the outgoing model, the Jeep Compass facelift for all right-hand-drive markets in the world will be produced at FCA’s Ranjangaon facility in Maharashtra. Jeep is expected to start rolling out the facelifted Compass sometime later this year. However, the model is expected to launch in India only in 2021. In terms of rivals, the Jeep Compass competes with the Hyundai Tucson and the Skoda Karoq.
