The BS6-compliant Datsun Go and Go+ will be offered in a total of five variants: D, A, A(O), T and T (O). Only the top-spec T and T (O) variants will be offered with an automatic transmission. Common colour options on both models include blue, silver, white, grey and red. Meanwhile, the Go gets a unique orange colour while the Go+ gets a unique bronze option.
Both models will be powered by the familiar 1.2-litre petrol engine which has been upgraded to meet BS6 emission standards. It will be offered in two states of tune depending on the transmission you pick. The 5-speed manual variant develops 68PS while the CVT variant puts out 77PS, figures identical to their BS4 predecessors. In terms of fuel efficiency, the manual variants of both models return 19.02kmpl, 0.81kmpl lower than the BS4 model. Meanwhile, the BS6 Go CVT returns a claimed 19.59kmpl while the Go+ CVT returns 18.57kmpl.
