Yamaha Tenere 700 Rally Racer

Yamaha had launched the Tenere 700 globally in June this year. Now Oberdan Bezzi Design and Gessi Motorcycles have collaborated to make an even hardcore rally-ready version called the Tenere 700 Rally Racer. The idea behind this project is to have a motorcycle that you can rally in straight off the showroom floor. This limited-edition motorcycle will offer high adjustability, top-spec components and a carbon fibre/kevlar bodywork.

While the engine and frame are to remain mostly stock, the seat height and riding position will be tailor-made for the rider. It will get better spec suspension that would offer a longer travel and more adjustability. The swingarm gets a new linkage as well. The brakes, wheel rims and tyres will be upgraded to rally spec as well. It gets two extra aluminium fuel tanks to extend the range. While Gessi Motorcycles have not delved into the specifics, according to them, the new motorcycle will be up to international rally specifications.

It won’t be affordable. We expect the Yamaha Tenere 700 Rally Racer to be priced double of the stock motorcycle. But then prepping a motorcycle for a rally isn't affordable either.
